About Strength from the Well
Nobody will advocate for your body but you.
Not because doctors are bad. Most are good, and most are trying. But no doctor has your whole history in front of them for more than a few minutes at a time, and no insurance plan was designed around you specifically. You are the only person in the room who is there for every appointment, every symptom, and every night you lie awake wondering whether something could be better than this.
That is what this site is for. We write the answer to the question you actually typed into the search bar — in plain English, with the uncertainty left in, and with enough of the reasoning shown that you could go check it yourself.
Why "the well"
Two meanings, both intended. Strength for people who want to be well. And a well as a source — the old image of the place you go when you are empty and come back carrying something. We are a faith-friendly publication. That shows up in how we treat people, not in how we read a study. Evidence is evidence regardless of what you believe, and you will find no scripture quoted here as though it settled a medical question.
Who writes this
Articles are researched and written by the Strength from the Well Editorial Team and published under that name. We are an independent publisher, not a medical practice. We are not a clinic, we do not treat patients, and we do not sell peptides, medications or supplements.
We are candid about what we are not: as of today, no article on this site has been reviewed by a licensed clinician. Adding a credentialed medical reviewer — a registered nurse, registered dietitian, or physician assistant — to review our health content is the first thing this site will spend money on. When that happens, reviewed articles will say so by name, and the ones that have not been reviewed will keep saying that too.
What we will not do
- We will not invent citations, statistics, studies or credentials.
- We will not publish dosing, protocols, or instructions for using any medication or peptide.
- We will not name, link to, or help you find a gray-market seller of anything.
- We will not tell you that you have a condition, or tell you to start or stop a medication.
- We will not pretend to certainty we do not have. "We don't know yet" appears on this site often, because it is frequently the true answer.
